Back then the music was actually good too. You do see a worldwide semi-acceptance of contemporary hiphop, but an underlying disrespect of Blacks is still there (I used to live in Japan, and I do know that many indians, latins, etc. like hiphop too yet they all disrespect us).Hiphop isn't all that great though IMO. There really is no OVERT genre these days that bridges cultures. However, there are individuals that like music that their race "shouldn't". |
