Oh and on the topic of "coolio." This video is just as flamboyant as any rap video on MTV. It is so far off from it's origin. You should, after watching my videos, check out the band "Altan." They are, in my opinion, an irish group that really keeps in touch with the tradition.

I agree they've commercialized it - not this song, per se, but some of the others (singout!, anyone?) Still, that was too harsh, comparing these wonderful singers to the likes of Disney. DISNEY? of Enchanted, Disney? Please. |
