well it's true, they aren't saying that EXACTLY -but the meaning is pretty much the same. technically "ich heisse" or "ich heiße" means literally "I am called", not "my name is" ("meine name ist") --- but it's basically the same thing in meaning, so honestly, it's kind of pointless to nitpick over it. it's like how you're taught to say "my name is" in french as "je m'appelle" when really that literally means "I am called" --- same exact deal.
