Hugo is trying hard to look like Perry. Arnel delivers the songs better than Hugo. His voice has more depth. Journey does not want another nostalgic act that's why it didn't get the services of someone who would copy SP to the last detail.

Dumbasses, they DID look at Hugo, he was one of the top picks; ironically, they didn't pick him because they thought he was TOO MUCH like Perry (looks AND vocals). THis was also long back when Perry first left the band, before ARnel was even around. ARnel's accent kills it for me. Hugo is far, far, FAR closer to Perry.
