This song reminds me of exactly of how my life is...I hang out on the beach with hot chicks in bikinis and driving around in my convertible Mercedes....Oh wait...that is NOT what my life is like...I have a crappy Mazda and I have no HOT chicks as friends...in fact, they are all fat and ugly...

i love this song it reminds me of the great summers in Spain when they are playing at the beach and dancing , i go to Spain in 2 days, im from Germany, btw this is the only version i heard of don't know about the other two version people are talking about here

I guarantee Don Henley (solo recorded; not with the Eagles!) who wrote this song gets sick when he opens the check for the royalties on this song. At least the Atari's rocked this is "grandma shopping at Sears musak". Cher is 70 and sounds like this. I just threw up in my mouth!
