Maybe its not the gig but the cd/music sales that are produced as a result. It is a risk and indeed difficult to quantify. The music industry baffles me that someone with the talent of Scott Henderson go on with limited recognition.

If you're not realy big like christina aguilera, britney, john mayer or 50 cent it seems musicians get's very low payments for gigs

I'm surprised. Maybe he needs a new promoter. I saw Victor Wooten in Clearwater when he was touring the jazz fests with his family band. Many people there did not know who he was until his band played. Then they didn't forget...

Why doesn't Scott play in the US? This monster would really take off here but maybe he doesn't want that. Excellent player indeed!
