Don't know what you're talking about, but the relevant difference between an M4 and an M16 is the length of the barrel and the length of the gas system, allowing more time for high pressure gas to accelerate the bullet.

The 6.5mm Grendal is better...for Ammunition anyways, but for a rifle choose the FN SCAR-L in replacement of the M16. It's not just the rifle but then again it's not just the round.
