the "desolate plains" are the section shown with the beam dragging across before it hits the MILITARY BASE. If you are saying the beam hit a non military target, the only thing shown would be that empty plain. The section with buildings on it was the MILITARY BASE. The MILITARY BASE housed the office with the president in it.Actually it does agree with me, just your reading comprehension doesn't follow the conversation.See, I am saying there are barrens, then the military base.

Do you see that we are talking about a base that is hit? A military base = a military target.The president moved to that base when the war moved to space. He sent a fleet from that same base, to assault ZAFT.If civilians are living on a military base, they are living in a military target. While some civilians may live there, that doesn't make the base a civilian city and non military target.

Not really. We already see that Kira is at best, 3rd in the lineup of best pilots in GSD.Shinn and Athrun have proven to be better pilots (in terms of actual pilot skill) than Kira.It comes down to SF being an exceedingly OP MS. The thing is exceptional at all ranges of combat. The only MS that is probably actually better than it in any regard, would be I Justice in melee range.Kira's inability to defeat/disable Shinn, speaks volumes for Shinn's ability.

Where at? Where is that specifically stated as you claim it to be?How does it cost freedom of thought and speech, when it is a voluntary system, possible to leave at any time, and Naturals (who do NOT receive genetic alterations) are allowed to be part of it (completely negating the notion that altering genes is an integral part)?Lacus and Co rejected it because they thought Durandel was evil, based on very weak conjecture. They never got solid evidence to prove their antidurandel claims.

Where were they ever shown to or intend to restrain him, prior to the scene he attacks the MPs?I don't see what is wrong with questioning someone who you are suspicious of. Questioning them can help you make an informed decision on what to do next, ranging from total vindication, to execution, depending on what is found out.Durandel provoked Athrun to escape? Why by sending MPs to bring him to Durandel for questioning, whom Athrun assaults?Fact is Athrun did break military law by defecting

it was seen on also on series,it was unrelevant to point that it was random citing from a beam making its way to pres.office..it was very noticeable and really points out that durandal really want to kill the president not only its fleet but his entire base and civilians there

upon reading your statement you mentioned it as it was really a super robot,ok... fine whatever,SF has really commendable stats and with kira as a pilot it was really becoming a super robot,kira`s stats share a huge amount in SF effeciency on par with any other gundam pilot stats with their MS included.,kira`s stats dominate any CE era pilots since sd gundam generations series
