(ect. again)I'm not trying to .. attack you or anything; I just read your comment and I know that it's what so many people think that Goth is, just because the word actually means "Violent" (but that dates back from Roman times and today is not what Goth means at all).Please don't think that I'm having a go at you or anything, because I'm not. I'm just trying to get more people in todays society to realise that Goth isn't all evil - it gives us SUCH a bad name -"us", because yes, I'm Goth.

(ect.)I know that whether you're Goth or not is based on what kind of music you like, but it's also to do with your personality. You could like the most Gothy-est (not a word, a know, oh well) music on the planet and yet you wouldn't actually be Goth if you wen round beating up random people because they think that it's freaky.

Actually, no, that isn't 100% true. While I respect what you're saying, Goth is nothing of the such. Goth isn't violent in any way, and any Goth who DOES decide to "kick the shit out of you" is just a wannabe.

yes my friend, emo and goth is the opposite of eachother.. emos are little crybabies, and cant stand up for themself, while goth will kick the shit out of you if you say shit to them..im not a goth or emo, but i respect goths more, cus they got this darkness over them, if you get what i mean xD thats why i like gothic girls so much, i like them dangerous and evilish, haha.. also, i'd like to add that 95% of the emos are faking their depression, and do all that crazy shit just for the attention

just because someone dresses maybe a bit darker than you would like or someone has crazy hair colors or black nail polish doesn't make them an emo person!!! this whole stupid "What Is Emo?" thing has been blown WAY out of proportion! i get called emo all the time and all i do is wear band t-shirts and skinny jeans. i'm not emo. EMO IS A TYPE OF MUSIC!

my eyes water a lot. does that mean I'm emo ? i aint crying. my eyes water a lot. I take eye drops. i do get emotional a lot. that must be from medication . I don't put black nail polish on the nails & i dress poor. i dono lol. gonna go cry in my pillow now
